I got to go to a movie last night with the Typist. We went to see Sherlock Holmes at the historic Byrd Theater here in Richmond.
I had not seen Sherlock Holmes before. The movie was funny. We laughed a lot.
That Byrd Theater was impressive too!
It was built in 1928 and is VERY fancy! Click on the little pic to see a big pic. It is WOW looking! It has a real live 1928 original Wurlitzer Organ that plays every Caturday night, too. You can hear it on this page. Plus they have a special show on Halloween with the Phantom of the Opera! I do not think that anyone swings on the chandeliers for it, though. I want to go hear the organ. I heard it’s pawsome. If you come to visit Richmond you can go with us to the Byrd too! It’s fun!
It’s nice that you have a special theater, my ducky buddy. Do they have a special duck section, or do all the birds get to mingle?
Wow George what an awesome place to see the movie – we haven’t seen it yet. It looks like a good movie.
